Tracks from the Museum of Pop Culture's unforgettable Founders Award fundraiser honoring Seattle's own Alice In Chains are now available to stream (for free!) on Amazon Music.

MoPOP Founders Award Honoring Alice In Chains: A Benefit for the Museum of Pop Culture features highlights from our nonprofit museum's annual benefit, which was broadcast virtually and open to all this past Tuesday night.

The compilation includes Mastodon’s cover of “Again;” City and Colour’s take on “Rain When I Die;” two covers of “Would?” by KORN and Metallica; a rendition of “Man In the Box” by Dave Navarro, Taylor Hawkins, Corey Taylor, and Chris Chaney; and more, plus performances of “Your Decision” and “No Excuses” by Alice In Chains.

Listeners can access the highlight album simply by asking, “Alexa, play the MoPOP Founders Award album” in the Amazon app for iOS and Android and on Alexa-enabled devices.

While this year's Founders Award streamed for free, like many arts organizations around the country, MoPOP has been hit hard by the COVID-19 crisis. As a community supported non-profit museum and in-person gathering space, closing our doors was especially difficult.

All proceeds raised through Founders Award will provide relief by allowing us to continue to serve our community, reach young people, and preserve our shared pop culture history during this difficult time.
