MoPOP has a number of programs that provide free or reduced-cost entry to the museum and is committed to providing access to families and individuals who experience barriers to entry through partnerships, discount programs, and education initiatives.

Museums for All

MoPOP participates in the Museums for All program, a national initiative that encourages families of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly.

Individuals and families presenting an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card and a valid form of photo ID can receive free admission (excluding special programs and exhibits) for up to four individuals.

Participation details:

  • We accept current EBT cards for the program from any state
  • There is no need for advance registration; just bring your card with you to the museum
  • You must have your EBT card when you arrive at the admissions desk at the museum to participate
  • No identification is required beyond the state-issued EBT card

Your organization may request up to four tickets per calendar year using the Ticket Donation Request Form. We encourage you to put in requests for these ticket donations at least four weeks prior to the date of your event. Tickets are not guaranteed. The museum does not donate memberships.

This program is currently in transition until August 12th. Organizations are welcome to submit applications in the interim, but they will likely not be addressed until the end of the transition period.

Thank you for bearing with us as we work to strengthen the CAP program.

MoPOP's CAP program enables qualified Pacific Northwest nonprofit groups to visit the museum for free.

MoPOP invites nonprofit organizations to apply for this program each year. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; final confirmation can take up to two months. In 2019, our goal is to work with nonprofit groups that serve the following populations:
