Hannah Ewens is a writer whose work focuses on fan culture and alternative pop and rock music. She received her MA in journalism from City University London and is currently Features Editor at VICE UK. Her first non-fiction book on gender and music fan culture, Fangirls: Scenes From Modern Music Culture came out in 2019, and is released in the US by the University of Texas Press, Summer 2020. She is based in London, England.
