"Don't torture yourself, Gomez. That's my job." - Morticia Addams, The Addams Family (1991)


The costume worn by Anjelica Huston as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993) is now on display inside Scared to Death: The Thrill of Horror Film at the Museum of Pop Culture.

Designed by Ruth Meyers for the Addams family films directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, the Morticia Addams' costume, part of the Allen Family Collection, comes to MoPOP during a span before Halloween 2021 that has seen several scary artifacts added to MoPOP's spookiest exhibition.

Throughout the past month, Scared to Death has become home to puppets from the Puppet Master franchise, more items from A Nightmare on Elm Streetthe hook used by Tony Todd in Candyman: Farewell to Flesh (1995), and more.
