Over the Clouds, a painting by Don Maitz for the cover art of Science Fiction + Fantasy Hall of Fame member Ray Bradbury's Classic Stories 2: Selections From A Medicine for Melancholy & S Is for Space has been added to the walls at MoPOP.

Bradbury was a beloved author whose career touched on science fiction, fantasy, horror, and beyond. An avid reader of fiction, he began publishing original stories in fanzines in 1938 and created his own, Futuria Fantasia, in 1939. His evocative work soon found significant acclaim in the popular pulp magazines of the day. As his reputation as a poetic writer grew, his stories were featured in mainstream magazines such as Esquire and Saturday Evening Post, a significant breakthrough for a science fiction author at that time.
