Evie Nagy is the author of the 33 1/3 book on Devo's Freedom of Choice, and the former Music Editor at Billboard and Managing Editor at Rollingstone.com. Her previous PopCon paper topics have included the joy of terrible singing, the birth of nerd rock, the problem with a cappella, the psychology of Gene Simmons, and the music of dead dads. She now works in tech and lives in Oakland.
