The Museum of Pop Culture is setting course for the Windy City this week and touching down at Star Trek: Mission Chicago, the ultimate all-ages official Star Trek fan convention put on by ViacomCBS and ReedPop.
From Friday, April 8 through Sunday, April 10, MoPOP will have an on-site presence at the McCormick Place Convention Center, offering behind-the-scenes coverage of the event on the museum's social media channels, as well as providing an up-close-and-personal look at the official timeline of Star Trek for event goers.
As seen in Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds, the exhibition that ran from 2016-2018 at MoPOP, the timeline features a visual display of how the Star Trek saga plays out across space, time, alternate timelines, and other dimensions. The diagram shows when the different Star Trek series and films take place, along with key events in that future history.

Much like the MoPOP timeline, Star Trek: Mission Chicago will explore the past, present, and future of the celebrated franchise with three full days of interactive exhibits, a cosplay showcase, a gaming zone, celebrity guests from the Star Trek universe, photo ops and autograph sessions, panels, screenings, exclusive merchandise, and more.
Tickets to the convention are still available and you can navigate to StarTrekMissions.com to learn more. We look forward to seeing you in Chicago!
